Using a Hatha yoga approach, PHASE 1: TENSION relief,

 

 

focuses on gently removing all the pain causing tension in your neck, shoulders and back. It’s made up of 24 bite-size episodes. 

Hatha is gentle and slow paced making it ideal for a stiff body. This pairs well with the bonus breathing workshop, that takes you from shallow breathing back to calming deep breathing that supports your nervous system

In the 2nd phase:

POSTURE correction

 

We re-cultivate proper body posture, through emphasis on alignment that keeps your spine young and healthy using a vinyasa based approach. Vinyasa is fun and flowing like a dance, which encourages spinal fluidity in another 24/72 episodes.

 

This phase pairs well with the bonus self-confidence workshop, which transforms the self-consciousness you may be feeling about your body into self-confidence, letting a healthy relationship with your body blossom.

Phase 3:

CORE strength

Is the final leg of our posture journey, and easily the most crucial, because after phase 2 has successfully brought your body back to a posture that is happy-healthy, a strong core is what maintains it so you don’t get into the loop of losing it, correcting it only to lose it again and back and forth. The last 24/72 episodes, we integrate in the Pilates “power house” principle [core muscle group.]

This phase pairs well with the bonus Bandhas workshop in which you’ll learn how to channel your energy to light up your core muscles to maintain your happy-healthy posture effortlessly.

I'm Cissy,

and the reason I created the Posture Paradise Method is because I know from first hand experience  how having hunch back posture feels like and its not a good feeling..

My posture was first challenged back in 2015 following a car accident in which I was saved by a seatbelt, it's the pain from the pressure impacted by the seatbelt onto my chest that began the habit of rounding my shoulders and generally being sluggish in my posture which eventually dragged my confidence down..

In 2018, I embarked on a yoga teaching journey in Rishikesh India, following a 3 year practice with an amazing yoga teacher who suggested hatha yoga as a gentle healing practice for just my chest,  but it had a ripple effect on my mental health as well.

Amazed by the transformation, I made it my life purpose to share this healing practice with as many women as possible and for me, that journey started with getting my 200 hours RYT training.  which I did in the summer of 2018 at Yoga Nath Yogashala in Rishikesh India.  

First forward to November 2024, I had my baby girl and postpartum introduced a whole new frontier my body had never navigated before.. I couldn't recognise the reflection in the mirror, I winced every time I caught it,, the space between my shoulder blades, my neck, everything was a mess.

To think my posture had seen it all with the car accident... To this day I still struggle with pain in my right ribcage.  The thing with posture pain, it smoulders to a point of you adapting to constantly being unhappy and uncomfortable at the core,. that whatever makes you feel good, doesn't really last.  

I didn't want to raise my baby feeling that way, but on the other hand, I barely had time to dedicate to my posture like before.

It's the lack of time and craving to be better for myself and my baby, that led to creating the POSTURE PARADISE METHOD
